During the event, Idrostudi will present a technical speech entitled:
“Monitoring the Grosseto sewer network for overflow control, infiltration/inflow detection and assessment of hydraulic resilience”, delivered by Mauro Castellarin, CEO and Technical Director.

The presentation will showcase an advanced monitoring project that has enabled:

• a detailed understanding of the hydraulic performance of the sewer network;
• identification and prioritisation of interventions in districts most affected by infiltration and inflow;
• analysis and optimisation of the Beveraggio overflow structure;
• assessment of hydraulic resilience during rainfall events;

the design, through a data-driven approach, of a permanent monitoring infrastructure based on the iCg web platform and Kaltom instrumentation.

The case study of the utility Acquedotto del Fiora, operating in the Grosseto area, will also be presented.

In addition, Davide Russo, CEO and Technical Director at Idrostudi, will take part in the round table on network design, contributing insights on new design approaches, balancing project quality, regulatory complexity and delivery times.
